Studying in Albany allows you to take advantage of the practical learning opportunities presented by the Great Southern region.

There are two undergraduate degree courses and one Honours course for Australian and international students offered in Albany through the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Arts.

The Centre of Excellence in Natural Resource Management specialises in running field-based intensive units over the summer period.

The units BIOL3360 Saving Endangered Species and ENVT3360 Ecosystem Restoration are both core units in the Conservation Biology major, and are available as electives in other majors. The unit BIOL4409 Ecological Field Methods is an elective unit in the BSc Honours degree.

The first year of many other undergraduate courses are offered in Albany through the Faculty of Science and other UWA faculties.  Contact the UWA Albany Centre for more information.
