Determining best management practices for the dairy industry is critical to ensure the ecological health of adjacent river systems.
This project utilised a range of rapid assessment techniques across a number of dairy properities across Gippsland, Victoria to imply BMPs. Riparian buffers were considered fundamental for the uptake of nutrients prior to their possible input into nearby rivers and streams.
