Associated research

The Centre is currently involved in TRaCK; Research to support river and estuary management in Northern Australia.


Current postgradaute research

By investigating new research opportunities in natural resource management, the Centre seeks to address emerging local issues.

At the same time it maintains a national and international profile through linkages and collaboration with appropriate partners.

Research themes

Our research activities encompass the following five broad program themes:

  1. Catchment and water management
  2. Use of degraded lands and waters
  3. Interaction between human activity and coastal and estuarine environments
  4. Extractive technologies
  5. Natural resource management policy and economics
